First Day of School

Summer is over. I almost cannot believe it. I am in the season of being consumed by young children (Jordan 8, Isabella 6, and Miles 2). They keep me very busy and I love it. Today was the first day of school. Jordan began 3rd grade, yes, 3rd grade. He was just a baby. And Isabella began 1st grade. My mini muffin is going to be away from me for the first time for a whole day of school. I will miss her. I have to pray that the Lord will protect them, watch over them and develop them. Its a peace that is a gift. I made it today. Miles and I got to spend the day together too. What a treat! He also still takes naps. So, a bonus was a few hours alone. It all turned out well. We celebrated by going to McDonalds after school. Something my mom did for me on the first day of school. It was more of a rarity for me than for them but it was still special. Here's to a great year!

Summer 09 Farm Camp

Jordan and Isabella went to Farm Camp this summer.
They had a blast with the animals, swimming, and taking home a chick every night.

Best Friends

I just spent two days with the greatest girlfriends in the world. They are not only fun, beautiful, and generous, they are godly. Godly in the sense that they are on fire for the Lord. They live out what they believe in every aspect of their lives. You know without a doubt, their first priority is serving Jesus! They are contagious! When you are around them, you want more. I truly believe that they are gift from God to me. I feel with them on my side, I have a loving support that gives me strength. Girlfriends are precious! These girls make me a better person, or at least make me want to be a better person.

Christmas Eve 2008

Its Christmas Eve. Three children are sleeping. Tomorrow is the big day. We love seeing Christmas through children's eyes. I think these are the best ages. Of course, I say that every year. May God bless you richly during this wonderful holiday! Merry Christmas!
